My journey to photographing intimate weddings and elopements
I have been photographing traditional weddings for 10 years. Together with my husband, Gerben, I moved from the Netherlands to Norway in 2019.
We photographed weddings together and it didn´t take us long to get our business rolling here in Norway as well.
But where we expected to experience a lot more adventure due to this amazing country with all it´s nature, we found that the local weddings are much more traditional than we were used to.
In 2024 we fulfilled another big dream, by buying our own little mountainfarm.
This was the point where Gerben told me, he no longer wanted to join me, (he has been my second shooter and support since day 1). He would much rather spend his weekends on the farm or out in nature. I totally understand and respect this.
So now I also came to a point where I had to reconsider my values and passion.

Things I love:

Norwegian nature
“Doing things differently than most people”

Epic locations
“creating and capturing AUTHENTIC moments”

Silence and Sunshine
“Positive people”

Equine and pet photography
“Arranging a special experience for my clients”

Being active outdoors
So that´s why:
From the start of 2025 I´m only focusing on elopements and intimate weddings with a maximum of around 25 guests.
I truly believe that a wedding photographer needs to be passionate about the jobs they take on, because this is, after all, the most special day of a wedding couple´s life.
So if you are looking for a photographer who is truly passionate about elopements and small weddings, who is located in Norway and loves to help you plan your wedding day or wedding weekend, than don´t wait another moment and contact me. I would love to hear from you.
